Elder Futhark Runes
Legend says the runes were given to the Norse god Odin after proving his worth by hanging for nine days on the World Tree, Yggdrasil. The Norse runic alphabet has long been used as a divination tool. Each letter has a specific meaning, and correctly interpreting the combination of a few randomly selected tiles can impart great wisdom. For more information, check out our quick guide to the runes.
Our Futhark rune sets all ship with a blank rune that you may use in the modern method, or keep as a spare in case of loss or damage.

The perfect place to start learning- This set comes with the full Elder Futhark, hand burned onto shaped wooden discs, and comes with a storage pouch and our quick guide to the runes. Tiles measure approx. 3/4"

This beautiful rune set is handmade from a single piece of ash- one of the most traditional woods for the Norse runes. Approximately 11/4"x7/8"
The set is finished with our own Haunted Wood Oil, and comes with a sturdy storage box.

Written in blood- figuratively, that is! This set is made in our own workshop from a single piece of imported bloodwood.
Finished with Haunted Wood Oil, and shipped with a velvet storage bag. Each rune is approximately 11/4"x7/8". |
